All our Cuban film posters are from editions hand-printed by ICAIC: Instituto Cubano de Artes Industrias Cinematografia in their Taller Seriagrafia (silkscreen workshop) in Havana. Distinguishable from cheap reproductions by their matt finish and highly evocative inky smell, these posters are becoming increasingly rare and collectable.
Alex Rostgaard's poster for the 1968 documentary film made by Cuba's premier filmmaker, Santiago Alvarez. The title comes from the Che Guevara quote roughly translated as 'Victory will be forever'.
